When I introduced "On-Lap" to the BAR, it was pretty cool! Utilizing mobile LCD as "cheap digital signage"

This time, I used GeChic's "On-Lap 1503H" as a display for signage. The actual selling price is about 36,000 yen including tax.

It is a mobile type model that is easy to carry, equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS liquid crystal display, and uses LEDs as the backlight. The resolution is full HD of 1,920 x 1,080 dots. The main body size is 382 x 246 x 11 mm, and the weight is 798 g for the main body and 282 g for the stand. It is much lighter than a notebook PC equipped with the same 15.6-inch display.

Video input is equipped with Micro-HDMI and VGA, and audio can also be input via HDMI. Equipped with a headphone jack, it is also possible to output sound from a 1.0W x 2 stereo speaker. The power supply of the main body is a USB-C terminal, and a 5V2A AC adapter is attached.

The interface is also grouped on the left side, and has a power indicator, power button, operation buttons x 2, and volume up / down buttons from the top.

Since the "On-Lap 1503H" is a mobile display, some people may wonder if it is different from a general display, but there is nothing difficult to use except that it is portable. Easy specifications that can be used simply by connecting to a PC without the need for special setup. You can use it immediately by connecting the video output cable from the PC to the Micro-HDMI terminal and connecting the power cable to the PC and the display.

A simple stand is installed as standard. Terminals and buttons are grouped on the side.

A PC is required to display images on a mobile display. However, there is no space for a large desktop in the store.

Therefore, this time, I used a small PC "Intel NUC (BOXNUC7i5BNKP)" and a stick PC "Intel Compute Stick (BOXSTK1AW32SCR)".

However, the CPU is equipped with Intel Core i5-7260U, and the memory is also equipped with a sufficient amount of 8GB. The storage is a 256GB SSD, and Windows 10 works comfortably. The video output is HDMI 2.0a and USB-C (DP1.2), and there are two USB terminals on the front and two on the rear.

Stick PC "Intel Compute Stick (BOXSTK1AW32SCR)" Although it is an ultra-compact PC, it is equipped with the minimum necessary functions such as a USB terminal.

The stick-type "Intel Compute Stick (BOXSTK1AW32SCR)" is an ultra-compact PC that can be directly attached to the HDMI terminal. The main body is 113 x 38 x 12 mm and weighs 381 g, which is a compact size that can not be thought of as a PC, but the Windows 10 32-bit version works properly.

The CPU is Intel Atom x5-Z8300, and the memory is equipped with 2GB. The storage is a 32GB eMMC, with one USB3.0 and one USB2.0. The power supply terminal is Micro USB.

Although there are restrictions on performance, these ultra-compact PCs are good for applications where the installation space is too small or when it is used only for signage display. The actual selling price is around 17,000 yen including tax.
